Do many of you wear knitwear in the nursery?
I mean - not just for sleeping, but also for everyday wear?
We've been using wool-cotton blends and thin wool garments as regular clothes since my little sister started kindergarten.
They've been warm and cozy, and we haven't been particularly worried about the clothes. That is, if they have come home
torn or with paint stains, it has almost only been cozy because the clothes have been used.
This spring, we "lost" a lot of garments in the nursery, one and one garment disappeared from the little sister's place.
The clothes were distinctive and no one in the nursery had anything like them, so there was no mistaking them,
and the staff knew exactly where the garments belonged. In the end, a total of 8-9 garments were
disappeared without a trace and the knitting drawer at home was almost empty.
In spite of patches and a high level of demand, none of the clothes have reached their destination.
I have to admit that the knitting emoji was hit hard by this, but now I have finally started on
Knitting a new wardrobe for my little sister. She's ready for a new fall in the Camille Cardigan from Mille Fryd Knitwear.
Knitted in Spøt from Sandnes Garn. The ruffle is a bit tough, but oh so worth it... ♥︎ A little short on the sleeves, must
knit longer next time. The mother-of-pearl buttons are so cool and make the jacket look a little more "exclusive".
She also got new Perleshorts from Paelas, knitted in double thread Thin Merino wool from Sandnes Garn.
We've used the light blue one in the top photo almost to death since she was in the creeper stage,
but it still fits and is the perfect match for both muted and brighter color combinations.
Paela's muff is a little thing knitted in quadruple thread, Kos from Sandnes Garn.
The recipe for assembling this was somewhat unclear, but I think we got it right in the end.
Both patterns from Paelas can be found in the book Barnestrikk fra Paelas.
Wishing you all a brilliant week!
