Kindergarten knitting

Kindergarten knitting

A quick recommendation from me today - kindergarten knitting. It's time to get out your fall and winter

the children's winter clothes, and it's usually mittens we're missing. They are used up from year to year,

and knitted mittens are the very best, I think. It's brilliant to have lightly felted wool mittens inside the rain mittens,

and especially the little ones benefit from the fact that the mittens are not so lumpy and hard in the fabric. Then it is

easier to grip the shovel and more likely to keep the mitts on.

You can find a free pattern for kindergarten mittens HERE. Holds sizes. 1-2 years and 3-4 years, but with thicker

yarn and thicker needles, you can stretch the mitten pattern a couple more sizes.

I have used the yarn strong and alpaca wool on my mittens. It's nice to have yarn that can be felted a little.

Strong is preferred because this yarn contains nylon which makes the mittens more durable.

Lua is a lace hat from Knitting for Olive. A favorite that has already been knitted 3 times here in

House. I love textured knits and this one is really nice with the star shape that is formed on top of the

Head. This hat is knitted by my talented mother in alpaca silk. Luxury in every way.

Great Tuesday!
