These knitted cones that can be hung on the Christmas tree were created as a result of a desire to still have the smell of Christmas in the living room when we acquired a plastic Christmas tree. The cones can be infused with scented oil to create the perfect Christmas tree association for you. The Christmas cone can be knitted in one color or two colors for more play in the pattern. If you want a larger pine cone, you can replace the yarn with a thicker yarn and correspondingly thicker needles to match. A pine cone can be knitted in 1-2 hours, depending on how experienced the knitter is.
