We've finally got the Yarn Options knitting app ready for Android users too. It's already available for iOS and we've received great feedback on the app. The app is an encyclopedia of most yarns sold in Norway and Denmark, and is intended as a tool to help you find alternative yarns to what the pattern suggests. Perhaps you want a different quality of yarn, or a different shade of color?
We have now included almost 700 different types of yarn in the app, and you can also add your own yarns and gauge, so it should be possible to find alternative yarns for most things. Many people ask about price, but for various reasons we have chosen not to include this.
Because it takes a lot of work to maintain and update such an app, the price of the reference work will go up after the introductory offer on the app. We therefore recommend those of you who have been waiting for the app to download it before the offer expires on July 21, 2019.
We hope the app appeals to you - we've certainly put a lot of thought into it.
