When my middle brother moved into the old barn from the 1950s, we often experienced
that loud thumps came from the attic after he had gone to bed.
He was too big for a baby nest, so the solution was a bed snake that fit in the bed.
Bed slings are easy to sew and you don't need to buy fabric specifically for them.
Leftover fabrics work really well. Here, I've used scraps from when I sewed duvet covers.
I love the mint-colored bed cover with hedgehogs from Stoff & Stil (S&S),
and chose fabrics that suited this. For a video tutorial on how to sew a bed snake see HERE.
The bed hose measures approx. 4 m, but it can easily be made longer/shorter if you wish.
For the eyes on the snake, I used iron-on patches from S&S, and the tongue is faux leather from S&S.
